Receive Know what was delivered, not just what was billed. RYDM records each unloading from trucks and tank cars and compares what went into the tanks with the bill of lading. When the two disagree, the right people hear about it. - Truck and tank-car unloading events - Bill-of-lading variance, flagged per delivery - Loading and unloading history by facility ### 2. Store Every tank on the pad, including DEF. Tank levels come from the gauges already installed. RYDM keeps the inventory, reports it by tank and facility, and warns your team before a tank runs low. - Diesel and DEF tank levels - Inventory reports by tank and facility - Low-level warnings by tank ### 3. Dispense What each bay dispensed, and how. RYDM reads the meters and nozzle controls at each fuel bay, including nozzle pressure control, and covers mobile fuel trucks that fuel locomotives away from the pad. - Meter readings for every fueling - Nozzle pressure control and nozzle status - Fuel bays and mobile fuel trucks ### 4. Identify Gallons belong to a locomotive, not a pump. An AEI reader at the pad reads the locomotive’s AEI tag. RYDM ties the fueling to that unit and records how long units waited in the queue. - AEI tag reads at the fueling position - Fuelings tied to locomotive units - Queue and wait time at the pad ### 5. Protect Catch the leak, the fault and the open derail early. RYDM watches leak detection, derail status, equipment faults and alarms, keeps their history, and sends email alerts to the people responsible for the facility. - Leak detection and alarm history - Derail status - Fault and alarm alerts by email ### 6. Report Reports your fuel, mechanical and accounting teams already ask for. RYDM produces fuel summaries, tank reports, locomotive fueling summaries and inventories, and can post fuel transactions to the railroad’s business systems and partners, set up with each railroad. - Fuel summaries and inventories - Locomotive fueling summaries - Postings to railroad business systems and partner file exchange ## Common questions Source: https://rydm.com/ ### Do we have to replace our nozzles, meters or tank gauges? No. RYDM reads the controllers and instruments already on the pad. CWI surveys the yard first and tells you what, if anything, needs to be added. ### How is a fueling matched to a locomotive? By the AEI tag the locomotive already carries. A reader at the fueling position identifies the unit, and RYDM ties the fueling to it. ### Can RYDM send data to our business systems? Yes. RYDM can post fuel transactions to a railroad’s business systems and exchange files with its partners. Each integration is set up with the railroad. ### Who installs it, and who do we call afterwards? CWI Railroad System Specialists installs RYDM, calibrates the field equipment and services it after go-live. ### Who can see our data? Each railroad’s people see their own railroad’s data. Access is set up for each railroad. ### How is RYDM priced? It depends on the facilities and the equipment already there. Request a walkthrough and we will quote after a survey of the yard.
